Rule clarification, and update on NSFW material. This is a trade community focused on buying, selling, and trading hardware. We feel the need for a NSFW channel is no longer necessary to the continued growth of our community. To be clear on the rules, all NSFW material, including material that mimics NSFW material, is not allowed in any channel in the server.

You may receive messages from a subreddit with a name very similar to one that you are a member of. Letters may be swapped around, or changed for a similar looking letter. This subreddit will claim that you were banned from r/“hardwareswap” or similar, and may even inform you that you were added to the “Universal Scammer List”. They will then instruct you to submit a form via the website to appeal this ban. The site you are directed to is a phishing site designed to look like the Universal Scammer List, and is seeking to steal your login credentials, or worse infect your system with malware.

This is a phishing scam as both the message from the subreddit and the link to the website are fake.
