- HardwareSwap started as a Subreddit devoted to the buying, selling, and trading of computer hardware. Over the years it has grown to cover most anything electronic, or involving computer hardware.

- How do I create an account on this website?
- The community is located on Reddit and Discord.
- How do I reset my password?
- Through Reddit or Discord, depending on which was used to create your HardwareSwap account.
Payment and Billing
- What payment methods do you accept?
- The only payment option allowed is PayPal Goods and Services.
- How do I update my payment information?
- Payment information is managed on your PayPal Account through PayPal.com.
- Do you store my payment information?
- The only PayPal addresses saved are those reported as being used during a scam. Addresses are not shared with anybody outside of Staff, and we do not store or see any of your account or payment information.
Shipping and Delivery
- Do you offer international shipping?
- This is dependent on the seller of the item in question.
- How long does shipping typically take?
- HardwareSwap asks that sellers ship within 5 business days. Communication with the buyer is important if there is a reason for delay.
- How can I track my order?
- All shipping is required to offer tracking. Tracking is provided by the seller and can be tracked on the courier website.
Product/Service Information
- What products/services do you offer?
- The only service provided by HardwareSwap is a community for buyers and sellers to find each other.
- Can I offer customization or personalization of my products/services?
- Any items listed for sale must be complete and ready to ship. Services offering custom built items are not allowed.
- Are there any warranties or guarantees on products/services?
- HardwareSwap offers no warranties or guarantees of any items sold on the platform. PayPal offers Buyer and Seller protection which can be used if needed.
Privacy and Security
- How do you protect my personal information?
- HardwareSwap uses OAuth when logging in which uses the platform you are using to encrypt and protect your personal information. The data that is stored through our servers is protected by encryption.
- Do you use cookies on this website?
- Yes, cookies may be used to simplify the login process, or for keeping track of what links have been visited.
- Is my payment information secure?
- When using PayPal, your information is secured through PayPal's website. We require that any transactions happen privately on Reddit or Discord. Never provide your PayPal Email to users in public.
Returns and Exchanges
- What is your return/exchange policy?
- HardwareSwap does not offer a return or exchange policy. If the item arrives as described and returns are at the discretion of the seller. Items that arrive not as described are expected to be accepted for return.
- How do I initiate a return or exchange?
- Reach out to the seller of the item explaining the cause for the return. If the seller accepts the return you will need to initiate a return on PayPal. If the seller does not communicate or work with you, please reach out to the staff of HardwareSwap and initiate a dispute on PayPal.
- Are there any conditions for returning/exchanging items?
- The buyer is expected to return any products in the same shape they were received in, with all accessories, boxes, and paperwork that was received with it.

- HardwareSwap should work without issue on Chrome, Edge, and Firefox.

- There is not a maintenance schedule in place. Disruptions with Reddit and Discord may cause site issues.

- Yes, as long as they are complete and ready to ship. Standard rules must be followed like any other item.
